A delicious natural beef stew.

Parsnips are a type of root vegetable, similar to carrots and beets. They have a sharp, nutty flavor and are commonly used in European and Asian cuisines. Parsnips can be boiled, stewed, fried, or grated and added to soups, stews, salads, and other dishes. They are rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, folate and iron, and are often considered a healthy addition to a diet.

And this is how you make the natural beef stew from the eco stove

We start with the onion and garlic. Remove the skin and shred them both. Peel the parsnips and then cut them into small cubes. The meat should also be cut into small cubes. Of course, make sure your meat is at room temperature when you cook it.

Sprinkle salt and pepper over the meat and then scoop the flour on top. Fry the meat in some butter or coma and fry it until the outside is nicely browned. Then add the chopped onion, garlic and parsnip cubes and fry for a while. Deglaze with the beer (not cold!) and add the stock to the pan.

First fry everything and let it simmer, then in the eco-stove.

Season to taste with the spices. If you want to remove it easily, you can put it in a tea infuser, for example. But I always just throw them in there. Let it simmer for 20 minutes so that the pan is hot and the meat in it too.

The eco stove

The eco-stew is actually the same principle that we know from earlier times: stewing in hay. In this case it is a round bag filled with sheepskin and this ensures that it is a nice hotbed for what you put in it. Stew meat has to stew for quite a while, so the pan goes in for three hours. If you want to stew the meat even longer, remove the pan after 3 hours, heat it again on the fire and then put it in for another three hours.
