If you want to treat yourself with a tasty bite, you should try this one! The recipe is from a French cook who makes fun French programs. Because not everyone understands or can read French, I thought I'd make a Dutch version of it! Of course with my own twist to it. And what a delicious burger this was. An unsurpassed burger. And this is how you make the Unsurpassed burger:

-Let's start with the sandwiches. To do this, cut the white bread into thick slices. Cut off the crusts. Then smear them with olive oil using a brush. Turn on your grill in the oven and grill the buns for about 3 minutes on one side, then turn them over. Grill them for a minute on the other side. Then remove them from the oven and set them aside on a rack to cool before use.

-Now we're going to make the sauce, we'll start with the gherkins, you're going to grate them. Note that a lot of moisture is released. You squeeze the pickle grater well with your hands. Also finely grate the white onion and squeeze. Place the grated onion and pickle together with the mayonnaise in a small bowl. Take a cutting board or a mortar and mash or chop the fried onions finely and then add it to the bowl. Add the chives and the teaspoon of sugar and stir well, season with a little salt.

-In a frying pan, fry the strips of bacon or bacon for the De unsurpassed burger just as nice and crispy and place them on a paper towel to drain.
