Oriental spiced crabs from the oven

Oriental spiced crabs from the oven

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

Preparing these crabs is super easy! We marinate ourselves and certainly the night before. This allows the marinade to soak into the meat well and you can taste it. This crab meat recipe is not complicated at all, you just need some time. We are going to bake them at a low temperature. This gives the meat time and literally falls off the bone the moment you serve it. I served these Eastern-spiced crabs from the oven with a bowl of basmati rice. This meat is also very often used in a traditional Dutch pea soup. Perhaps you know about that. slow cooking recipes

So this time we prepare these crabs with an Eastern-inspired marinade. But here you can completely immerse yourself. The meat can be marinated in many ways. A tasty recipe could also be BBQ crabs. They are also a kind of spare ribs. And you can also make these for hours on a bbq. This gives the crabs a nice extra smoky flavour.

A few hours in the oven at 120 degrees, super easy with a top result.

And as for the costs? Spare ribs are much cheaper than spare ribs! I paid just under €6 for this tasty recipe. Those were ten deliciously tender crabs with a lot of meat on them. Enjoying this affordable meal was really worth it. Moreover, you can prepare another delicious dish with the leftover crabs and get even more value from your purchase. The value for money of this dish is really fantastic!
