Because that's what this surprising dish was in. I got to work with three nice surprise dishes straight from Brabant. And you know what you getting from Brabant is nice! The original recipe of this Oriental shakshuka from Brabant comes from the Middle East and has many different variants. This time we make it with eggs from Brabant chickens, peppers from Dongen, and cumin cheese from Brabant grass blades. A delicious shakshuka recipe with a Brabant twist.

Ingredients:
- 1 Red onion
- 1 Red pepper
- 3 tomatoes
- 300 ml chili sauce - jar or bowl
- 100 gram cumin cheese in cubes
- 4 eggs
- 2 bake-off rolls
- fresh parsley or basil leaves
From the pantry:
- olive oil
- peper

And this is how you make it:
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees.
- Cut the bell pepper and onion into strips. The cheese, if you have bought a slice of cheese, in cubes. Also cut the tomato into cubes.
- Heat the frying pan and add a little olive oil, fry the bell pepper and onion for a few minutes.
- Add the chili sauce along with the diced tomatoes and stir briefly. Now make a well and carefully break an egg in it. Repeat with the other eggs. Carefully add the cheese cubes here and there. (don't stir anymore!)
- Place the pan in the oven completely and let it bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the eggs are completely set.
- Cut the buns into slices and sprinkle with some olive oil and salt. Bake the slices in the oven for the last 5 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the oven with an oven glove and garnish with fresh parsley or basil and serve immediately.
