Secretly I can be called a bit stubborn. I like to adapt recipes to my own taste and creativity and make it something unique. And so transforming a recipe and making it my own way suits me as a food blogger. Nothing more fun than standing in the kitchen adding a “little bit of this” and “a little bit of that” to a dish. In the meantime, don't forget to take pictures and notes so that I can record the process and the result. ossobuco recipe

Take a frying pan and heat a dash of olive oil in it. (30/40 ml) when it is hot, add the butter and let it melt. Then place the shanks in the pan and let them brown nicely on both sides. Then set the shanks aside on a plate.

Place the vegetables in the pan and fry for a few minutes. Add the herbs and some more salt and pepper.
While your vegetables are frying for a while, heat the wine in a pan and make sure your stock is also at the right temperature.

Use the spatula to push the vegetables slightly to the outside and place the shanks in the frying pan. Now add the wine and stock. Cover the pan and let it simmer. At least two hours!

I love it!
delicious
Very tasty recipe. The ingredients don't really matter. This time I replaced the wine with good balsamic vinegar, diluted with water (1:4) because there was absolutely no alcohol allowed in the food.
Nice to hear Tom, great that it also stopped that way! Greetings Francine
