A healthy twist on the famous Big Mac: crispy lettuce, tender seasoned minced beef, real grated cheddar and the legendary Big Mac sauce - all homemade. Low carb and full of flavor, ready in just 25 minutes.

You need:

Ingredients:

  • ½ head of lettuce
  • 1 bag of butter lettuce
  • 300 gram minced beef
  • 100 gram cheddar cheese - grated from block
  • ½ white onion
  • 20 pickle slices
  • sesame seeds

For the Big Mac sauce you will need:

  • 5 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pickle
  • 3 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 very finely chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • salt
  • peper

Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.

And this is how you make it:

  • We make the sauce first. Chop the onion and the gherkin finely and put in a bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until you have a smooth sauce. Place in the fridge until use.
  • The burgers at the Mac don't really have that much flavor. That is why I first seasoned my meat with minced herbs. Then roast the minced meat in a frying pan, but keep the grains a bit coarse.
  • With your grater you grate the cheddar from the block. About 50 grams pp. Chop the onion.
  • Wash the lettuce and finely chop the leaves. Put in the bowls, drizzle some sauce over it.
  • Finish the salad with the minced meat, cheese, sauce, chopped onion and sesame seeds.
