It's almost the weekend and I've already prepared all the dishes I had in mind. Fortunately, I have two special drawers in my fridge that are set to 0 degrees. I can keep my vegetables and other products fresh for a very long time there. For example, I always have a stock of peppers and tomatoes in that drawer. Sometimes they are vegetables that I bought a month ago. But they don't last forever, so I really had to do something with them! And a simple way to combine all kinds of different ingredients into a tasty dish is a quiche. I took the minced meat out of the freezer and the peppers from my 0-degree drawer and made this delicious quiche recipe with bell peppers and minced meat.
And this is how you make the Paprika minced meat quiche:
-Preheat your oven to 200 degrees.
-After that, clean all vegetables and cut or shred them into small cubes/pieces. Put everything in a large bowl.
-Remove the puff pastry sheets from the freezer and let them thaw. Then line the springform pan with a sheet of baking paper and place the puff pastry leaves in it. I always cut the leaf in half for the edges and place them against the edge. Press well with the other leaves of puff pastry.
-In a large frying pan, first crumble the minced meat and then let it drain briefly in a colander otherwise the quiche will become very greasy. Then season the minced meat with salt, pepper and paprika.
Then fry the chopped vegetables for a while and then tip the whole thing into the quiche tin lined with puff pastry.
-In a mixing bowl, break the 3 eggs and add the crème frache. Mix it with a whisk to a smooth sauce which you then pour over the minced meat mix.
- Finally, sprinkle the fried bacon over the minced meat mix and then the grated cheese. Place the quiche in the oven for about 30 minutes until the edge is golden brown.
When the quiche is finally done and golden brown, carefully remove it from the oven and place it on the table. You can serve it with a fresh salad of your choice.
Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
