Passion fruit grapefruit mint mocktail

Passion fruit grapefruit mint mocktail

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

Making mocktails, I'm starting to enjoy it more and more! Coming up with tasty combinations and serving them in nice glasses. Of course you can make them all year round, but now during dry January it is a pleasure to make them. This mocktail recipe came about because I had some passion fruit juice left over from making various smoothies. mocktail with passion fruit

I also like to use passion fruit in it because it gives just that little bit extra flavor. If you don't do dry January and do drink alcohol, you can add some rum to this, for example. That fits the tropical character of this drink.

The sweet and sour of the passion fruit and the freshness of the mint go together perfectly.

We will definitely be making mocktails more often and experimenting with all kinds of different flavors. For example, for the next mocktail recipe I already have an idea in mind, for example, to use spices as you would with gin and tonics.

There is still plenty to discover in the alcohol-free world. You can make this passion fruit grapefruit mint mocktail in no time and it gives just that little extra when you're sitting at the table. By the way, if you are not a fan of grapefruit, replace it with orange juice or pineapple juice.

You need:

Ingredients:

  • 200 gram ice cubes - crushed
  • 200 ml passion fruit juice - from freezer compartment
  • 1 grapefruit - squeezed
  • 2 twigs fresh mint
  • Red berries - for decoration

Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.

And this is how you make it:

  • Crush the ice in your blender and scoop into the glasses.
  • Thaw the passion fruit cubes in your microwave. I use the boxes from the freezer section of your supermarket. Divide among the glasses.
  • Squeeze the grapefruit and put the juice with the leaves of the mint sprigs in the blender and grind a few times. Pour this into the glasses as well.
  • Garnish with the red berries and a sprig of mint and serve.
  • Cheers!
