ATW: Around the World recipes. These recipes are shared with me by people from all over the world who have one thing in common with me: learning French. We are all members of a group that regularly speaks to each other via Skype. Almost every continent is represented. I have asked everyone to share his or her secret recipe, or family recipe with me. This way I can also inspire people here in the Netherlands and share these secrets with you. per erik kladdkaka
Because if there is one thing that brings people together, it is dining together. This Per-Erik Kladdkaka cake is a pearl from Swedish cuisine. Kladdkaka is a Swedish cake that looks a bit like a brownie, it is nice and soft on the inside. In the Netherlands we also call it kleddercake. Super easy to make!
-Preheat your oven to 175 degrees.
-Let the butter for the Per-Erik Kladdkaka pie melt completely (I did this in a container in the oven that is preheating, make sure you take it out in time).
- In a large bowl, mix the eggs with the sugar. In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients, namely the flour, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar and salt.
-Add the melted butter to the egg-sugar mixture and stir together, then add this mixture to the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
-Butter the spring form, it should have a diameter of 24 cm, if you take a larger or smaller one, you have to pay close attention to the baking time in the oven. When it is buttered, sprinkle some cocoa powder in the mold with a spoon so that the layer of butter is powdered with the cocoa powder.
- Then put the mix in the springform pan and put it in the oven for 17 minutes.
-When it is finally baked, take it out of the oven and let it cool down for a while. Then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
