If your husband says “make this more often, much tastier than the supermarket”… Ok, we will do that from now on! A granola recipe is therefore made in no time and you decide what's in it! In this case a pistachio and almond granola. Of course there is much more in it, but I have just named the main ingredients. Baking this breakfast stuff takes less than XNUMX minutes.
What you take out of the oven smells nice, is completely without any strange additives and can be stored for a few weeks. I get my supplies from wholesalers and that comes in handy here because they supply the products in bulk. Which means large bags and very nice to use for a granola recipe like this.

Pistachio and almond granola
You can have a granola recipe like this pistachio and almond granola in a bowl within 20 minutes. The advantage of making it yourself is that you also decide how much or which types of sugar you use. I often find the supermarket varieties much too sweet. I used maple syrup and a tablespoon of coconut blossom sugar. This gives a bit of a caramel flavor to your granola. It is available in your supermarket. But if you buy it in bulk, it is certainly cheaper.

The pistachio nut we use originates from Asia. Nowadays also widely cultivated in Europe. The trees can grow up to 10 meters high. Did you know that these nuts have the lowest number of calories per nut? A very healthy nut, they provide a better immune system and lower cholesterol. granola without sugar

Yes how nice. Always enjoy this.
This one is really tasty!
Would like to make this one. Seems top notch to me. But I can't get coconut blossom sugar here directly. What could I use as a substitute? Cane sugar?
Hi Erica, that could indeed be possible, coconut blossom sugar does have a specific taste. Otherwise, take a look online at, for example, KoRo or at a health store. You can also buy it at the AH. Have fun creating! gr Francine
