A reasonable number of Polish people live here in the village. Often working in the greenhouses that you find here in the villages around us. I am also going to discover Polish cuisine, and we start on Friday cocktail day with a Polish szarlotka vodka cocktail. A super simple but tasty cocktail. Actually apple juice for 18+ because we only need two ingredients! Cloudy apple juice and vodka, which makes it an insidious drink. By the way, did you know that szarlotka means “apple pie” in Polish?

In Poland, vodka is often served with food. Or at home before going to the pub/disco or entertainment venue. This Polish szarlotka vodka cocktail will often be served with it. The apple juice gives it its sweet taste and is therefore delicious to drink. Be careful with this because vodka is quite on the high side in terms of alcohol percentage.

I squeezed the apple juice with apples from my own garden. The beautiful pink color of this cocktail comes from because I did not peel the apples.

Do you want to spice up this super simple Polish szarlotka vodka cocktail? Then serve it as I did with a stick of cinnamon and a slice of apple on the glass. You can knock the glass back in one go, but I would say enjoy and drink in moderation… Then the evening will last just a little longer…

This cocktail is based on the Polish apple pie szarlotka, which is made with apples, cinnamon and dough. It is a delicious combination of sweet and spicy, which fits perfectly with the cold winter days. The vodka gives the cocktail an extra kick and warms you from the inside.

You can easily make this cocktail yourself with just three ingredients: apple juice, vodka and cinnamon. It is an ideal drink for a party or a pleasant evening at home. Cheers!

Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
