This is really a typical no-waste recipe. Why? Many of the ingredients were in my fridge, and the stew was left over from another day. I'm more and more annoyed that we all throw so much away. Here at home we separate almost all of our waste. And with lots of vegetables, for example, I make a soup or process it in a stew. Use a little imagination and you can come up with so many fun recipes. So also with these leek rolls from the oven with stew leek ham recipe leek rolls cheese.

How do you make this recipe?

-As you can read at the bottom of the ingredients list, I used a vegetable package from Albert Heijn. But you could also make a vegetable stamp yourself from other vegetables such as fennel celeriac or parsnip turnip. Make this first and mash it into a stew.

-Preheat your oven to 200 degrees

-Take a baking dish and scoop the bottom full with the stew.

-Wash the leeks and make sure all the soil is rinsed off. Cut the leeks into 3 cm thick slices. Cut the slices of Parma ham lengthwise down the middle and then roll them around the leek rolls. Then place it on top of the stew. Drizzle some olive oil on top of each roll and sprinkle with some freshly ground pepper and salt.

- Finally, grate the Parmesan cheese over the leek rolls. Then put the baking dish in the oven for 30-35 minutes until everything is cooked.

Finally, remove the dish from the oven and serve with a nice glass of wine. And so you see that you can also eat very delicious with left-overs from the fridge!
