Radicchio salad with dill dressing

Radicchio salad with dill dressing

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

Radicchio, a vegetable that looks like lettuce and is shaped like a head of lettuce, but is actually not lettuce at all! Yes, that's confusing, isn't it? It is a radicchio from Italy and belongs to the radicchio family. A bit comparable to chicory. It is a bitter vegetable so we are going to season it with a homemade dressing. The recipe for this radicchio salad with dill dressing comes from Crisp, I was allowed to order a number of tasty items there and this salad really appealed to me because of its color.

And since there was no radicchio salad recipe on my site yet, it is a nice addition. In any case, I haven't worked with it much yet, so I can let loose with my creativity and come up with beautiful recipes with it more often!

Nice with an egg

Radicchio salad with dill dressing

This radicchio salad recipe is on the table in no time. Do you have anything left? You can keep this salad in the fridge for a day or two. Keep the dill dressing aside for a while and add it when you are going to eat it. In Crisp's recipe they also add potatoes, I didn't do that.

You can easily vary this recipe for a low-carb salad and give it your own twist. For example, add deliciously crunchy and sweet caramelized nuts as an extra seasoning. This makes the salad not only healthy and nutritious, but also surprisingly tasty. Experiment with different types of nuts and enjoy the delicious combination of different flavors and textures. In short, this adjustment ensures that your salad offers even more options to enjoy!
