Depending on the topping, you can eat the protein pancakes wherever and whenever you want. Go for savory or sweet: it just depends on what you like. Make an extensive breakfast by topping them with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit or eat the protein pancake filled with chicken for an evening meal. The protein pancakes are also delicious with a homemade avocado spread or with steamed vegetables.

If you exercise a lot, are vegetarian or vegan, it is wise to incorporate extra protein into your diet. The protein pancakes are therefore the ideal replacement for the standard protein shake! Eat the protein pancakes after exercise, if you are hungry or if you are looking for a (light) meal on the go. You can eat the pancakes hot or cold.

Easy to make

  • 40 gram protein powder
  • 100 gram oatmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 banana
  • 200 ml milk
  • ¼ tl salt
  • sunflower oil

Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.

And this is how you make it:

  • Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. This can be done with a whisk, but it is even faster and easier if you use a food processor or blender.
  • Heat butter or oil in the frying pan.
  • When the frying pan is hot, pour a thin layer of pancake mix into the pan. Avoid using too much batter. After all, you want the protein pancake to be cooked inside.
  • Lift the protein pancake carefully with a fork to check if it has turned golden brown. If so, it's time to carefully flip the protein pancake.
  • Turn the pancake over and wait until the other side is also golden brown.
  • Serve the protein pancake with a topping of your choice.
  • Delicious bites!
