Whipped cream dessert for Sinterklaas with mascarpone

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

Those who are sweet get treats! Well believe me this whipped cream dessert for Sinterklaas is sweet and delicious! And of course also super quick and easy to make. Since the end of August, ginger nuts have been back on the shelves and you can feast on all kinds of sprinkles. For me, that takes away a little bit of the magic and the atmosphere of the party... Traditions are of course changeable over the years, but every year the nuts seem to be on the shelf earlier. Even though no one here in the house believes in Sint anymore on December 5th, we celebrate Sinterklaas with some presents. And with this dessert, the party is complete! mascarpone sinterklaas dessert recipe

And this is how you make the whipped cream dessert for Sinterklaas:

- Get a big bowl with it first. (If you have a KitchenAid food processor like me, use that bowl of course) First add the mascarpone and beat it loose. Then add the cream and sugar and start beating gently. Then increase the speed and beat the whole into a delicious lobed mascarpone whipped cream.

-Take two handfuls of gingerbread cookies and roll them up with a rolling pin.

- Now take your glasses and first add some gingerbread crumbs, then carefully spoon in some whipped cream and pour some caramel sauce over it. And that's how you fill the glass.

Finally, top it all off with some chocolate peppernuts and the chocolate chips and: Delicious Happen!

Tip: You can buy the caramel sauce ready-made in the supermarket, but you can also easily make Dulche de leche yourself. You can do this by buying a can of condensed milk. First remove the paper from the can and then put it underwater in a pan. Now all you have to do is let it cook for three hours. Make sure it stays underwater!

Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
