    1. Hi Saskia, 5 spices is a Chinese five spice powder consisting of: cinnamon-star anise-Szechuan pepper-fennel-cloves. It is quite strong in taste so be careful with the amount! You buy it in the supermarket in spice jars. Eg from Silvo or Euroma or Jonnie Boer. But of course also online at Van Beekum spices! Gr Francine
