Quick pulled chicken in cream sauce

I had some cooked from another dish kip and of course we don't throw it away. Also a bit of a shame to feed the dog like this so I made this recipe quick Pulled chicken in cream sauce. Once I didn't make the sauce with a roux, but just with cornstarch. That is a nice binding agent to bind your sauces with and is also not very expensive. So a package cannot be missing in my kitchen drawer. Cornstarch is nothing more than cornstarch. The brand name Maizena was introduced in America in 1862. And very quickly, namely one year later it was already available on the Dutch market.

Pulled chicken is a dish consisting of stewed or boiled chicken that is then pulled apart into small pieces of fibrous meat. It is often served as a sandwich filling, as part of a salad, or as an accompaniment to various dishes.

And this is how you make the Quick Pulled chicken in cream sauce:

-If you don't have any cooked chicken breasts in stock, cook them until they are nicely cooked. Allow to cool slightly and then pull the chicken breasts apart with your fingers until you have nice strips.

-Clean your mushrooms and cut them into four pieces.

-Take a pan and add the water and half a cube of boullion, bring to the boil and then lower the heat a bit. Add the cornflour and keep stirring with a whisk until you have a nice smooth sauce. Then add the cream and mix well again.

Finally, when your pasta is cooked, drain it for a while and then spoon your pulled chicken on top of the pasta, garnish with the freshly chopped parsley and: Delicious bites!

  • 1/2 block forest mushroom boullion
  • 50 ml cooking cream
