I have been fond of Brussels sprouts since I was a little girl. Yet there are plenty of people who are horrified by it and need not know anything about it. This recipe might win over even the biggest Brussels sprout haters, as we serve them in a delicious cream sauce. These Brussels sprouts in Parmesan cream sauce are on the table in no time and is a recipe derived from my chicken in cream sauce. That has been a winner on the site for years, so this time we put the sprout in the leading role.

Do you really want to make it easier for yourself and save on your groceries? Then buy cleaned sprouts. But did you know that you can also clean them yourself? It takes a little extra effort, but it can quickly save you 2 to 3 euros. Why not invest a little extra time and enjoy fresh sprouts and the savings?
The combination of these delicious Brussels sprouts, cooked in a creamy Parmesan sauce with crispy roast potatoes as a perfect side dish, makes for a unique taste sensation. The tasty addition of bacon gives the dish an unexpected and flavorful twist. If you don’t eat pork, you can choose to leave out the bacon or replace it with “turkey bacon,” which is also delicious. This hearty and well-composed combination makes for a delicious meal in itself, without the need for additional meat, making it ideal for vegetarians or anyone looking for a lighter option.
