There are many of my favorite ingredients in this dish. So I definitely love the combination of these ingredients in this quiche. You can prepare this quiche in no time and it doesn't take that long in the oven. So squeaky and delicious at the table with this Brussels sprouts quiche with bacon and goat cheese. If you don't like goat cheese, you can of course choose another type of cheese. Get one that also melts a bit. quiche recipe
And this is how you make the Brussels sprouts quiche with bacon and goat cheese:
-Clean the Brussels sprouts first, or buy already cleaned sprouts. These are usually a bit more expensive so that's just what you want to spend. Place them in a pan of boiling water and some salt. Then cook them for 10 minutes. Then rinse them with cold water and cut them in half.
-Preheat your oven to 200 degrees.
- In a frying pan, fry the bacon until crispy.
- Let the puff pastry sheets thaw and then put them in your greased quiche tin. Press the edges well and poke the holes in the bottom.
-Take a bowl and add the ricotta, eggs and cream, nutmeg and persillade and beat everything until smooth.
-Take the Brussels sprouts and place them with the convex side up. Then pour the egg mix over it. Put the pieces of bacon in between. Then break the goat cheese into small cubes and place it between the Brussels sprouts as well. Season with salt and pepper.
-Now put the quiche in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the egg mixture is set.
