Brussels sprout stamp with pumpkin and smoked bacon

Hotchpotch. One of the first things my daughter really ate with taste. I prepared a lot of kale which she then ate at the KDV with the teacher there when I had to work late. But it doesn't get much further than kale because that is too exciting in terms of taste. When I told her that I was going to make this Brussels sprout mash with pumpkin, she thanked me very much. And that while all the ingredients are eaten separately with taste… She even loves Brussels sprouts! Oh the frustrations of a mother and I know I'm not alone in that. I can wholeheartedly recommend this stew because it is really tasty! stew Brussels sprouts bacon recipe

And this is how you make the Brussels sprouts mash with pumpkin:

- If you want to make it very easy for yourself, you can buy all the ingredients at the fresh section of the supermarket. Cleaned sprouts, peeled potatoes, and diced pumpkin. If you don't feel like it, that is of course a solution!

-If you buy everything at the vegetable department like I do, then you will have to get to work and peel the potatoes. Clean the Brussels sprouts and peel and dice the pumpkin. Add some nice music and before you know it everything is ready.

-Take a large pan and put all the vegetables in it. Fill it until everything is submerged and then add some salt to the water. Cook for about 20 minutes until fully cooked.

-In a frying pan, fry the bacon until nice and crispy and pour the fat from these bacon into a bowl.

When the vegetables are cooked, drain them and add the bacon fat to the pan. Then mash the whole thing, but don't mash it completely into a pulp, it's nice to leave a sprout whole now and then.
