A nice biscuit with coffee in the morning, or a snack with tea in the afternoon, very tasty but often very unhealthy. Just for fun, take a look at the various packaging that you buy in the supermarket. You will be surprised where and in which articles sugar is used by manufacturers. This way we all get way too much sugar with all the consequences that entails. Can you never eat anything with sugar again? No, I won't say that quickly, but there are also tasty low-sugar recipes! And I'll prove it to you once again with these sugar-free oatmeal coconut muffins. This way you can still enjoy something delicious, and you eat much less sugar unnoticed.

Some additional tips for you:

  • So read the packaging on the product in the supermarket. The first ingredient in the list already indicates what the main ingredient is. If it contains sugar / glucose / or other names for sugar, then that is the main ingredient.
  • Make your own snacks / cookies / snacks. You can often keep these for a few days, so you always have something at home.
  • Be careful with sauces from packets, they also often contain a lot of sugar. Make your own sauce and freeze them per 500 ml. This way you quickly have a stock and it is also much tastier than from a pack!
  • Never go shopping on an empty stomach, the temptation to throw snacks and unhealthy things in your cart is great! I know that from experience haha.
  • sugar rush? Have a cup of tea or chew on a sugar-free gum.
