Tabouleh salad with feta is a delicious and fresh salad that originally comes from the Middle East. It is a perfect salad for a warm summer day or as a side dish for a barbecue. Tabouleh salad is made with bulgur, a type of grain that contains a lot of fiber and protein. Bulgur is boiled and mixed with finely chopped parsley, mint, tomato, cucumber, onion and lemon juice. You can also add some olive oil, salt and pepper for extra flavor. In this case we chose sumac. These are red spicy red berries and sumac or sumac can be described as fresh, spicy, sharp and especially lemony.
