The sun is shining! Time for cooling slush cocktails for the 18+ fellow man. This tequila peach lemon slushy is nice and refreshing and can be served as a dessert after a BBQ, for example. But also just as a drink when you are chilling on your terrace. We give the slushy extra flavor by adding the zest of a lemon. You can taste that, and it is really very tasty. Choose unsprayed fruit for this cocktail, which is slightly more expensive, but ensures that you don't get anything crazy.

Not a fan of tequila? No problem, gin, vodka, jenever, choose what you want, it goes with it! I would go for a nice transparent drink, then you keep the color of the peaches. We don't have to add syrup because the remaining sugar and zest with which we decorate the edge also go into this slushy. And peaches are of course already sweet enough of themselves.
For this recipe you need a good blender to crush the ice. Do you really not have that at home? Then put some ice in a plastic ziplock bag and place it between a tea towel and then hit it hard with a kitchen roller. Ingredients:
- 80 ml tequila
- 3 peaches
- 1 citroen
- 2 el sugar
- ice cubes
Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.
And this is how you make it:
- With your microplane you grate the peel of your lemon, take an organic lemon, these are unsprayed. Put the zest in a bowl and add the 2 tbsp sugar, mix the whole.
- Run your lemon over the rim of the glass so that it has some juice on it and then dip the rim in the sugar-zest mixture.
- Remove the pit from the peaches and cut the flesh into pieces, place in the blender and blend briefly until mushy. Pour into the bowl with the remaining sugar and zest. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice.
- Blend 2 to 3 hands of ice cubes into small ice flakes and scoop into the bowl and then mix with the tequila and scoop into the glasses. Serve immediately.
