He took a while to write this blog because I was quite busy. You know it… work, sports, housework, mommy's taxi and those kinds of daily but time-consuming activities. But you are on top of this elimination race and I have been asked several times to come up with an update. You ask, we run….. Measuring is knowing! Same but the stats:
- current weight: 69.6 kg
- fat percentage: 26,1 percent
- BMI: 22,3
- chest circumference: 97 cm
- buttock size: 100 cm
- waist circumference: 81 cm
- calf circumference: 36 cm
- leg circumference: 55 cm
- arm circumference: 27 cm
And that is 10 months after the start the following result:
- Weight : 86,6 / 81,4 / 79,3 / 73.6 / 69,6 : -17kg total
- Fat: 42 / 40,7 / 39,1 / 37 / 26,1 : -16% total
- BMI : 27,6 / 26,1 / 25,3 / 23,5 / 22,3
- chest: 106 / 104 / 103/99 / 97 : -9cm total
- belly: 96 / 95 / 91 / 87 / 81 : -15cm total

Target achieved! help what now??
And while in the first blog about this process I was extremely careful to say that I would achieve my goal, we have now already reached that point... So that had to be adjusted. Of course I'm still training with Mike, and he also coaches me on my calorie intake. So I do this process by counting calories. We have determined a number of macros that I can consume per day. Divided into fat / protein / carbohydrates. And basically there are no restrictions on what I can eat. As long as it falls into the total. My calorie total now stands at 1643 per day. This will change again once I have achieved my total goal of -20kg. weight loss tips
Fat / muscle / workouts / bulking / weight loss
The last few months I have been training quite intensively, and yes that takes a lot of time. Time that I consciously choose to put into myself. So some things are no longer possible, I have to change or adapt in this new lifestyle. So I almost stopped drinking. And a lot has changed when it comes to food. Not necessarily what I eat, but how much I eat. Now that I have to keep track of my food every day in an app, you are also extremely aware of what you put in your mouth. In addition, also the amount of calories that some contain. We can conclude that we can all live very well with a little less.
By the way, I won't stick to this number of calories. Once the new goal has been achieved, another phase will begin. The “bulking”. More about that later, for now I still have -3 kilos to lose. And those are the really complicated kilos. In this phase, losing weight really happens per ounce and no longer per kilo. There are still two and a half months left this year. What comes after Update Delicious Happen knockout race 4?
Now that I have spent so many hours in the gym, I see the other people around me who are just as motivated to work there. Everyone has their own goals, their own self-image and gives up a lot to achieve them. I get a lot of support through Instagram, and I often hear “you are really my example, because of you I started again”. Super cool to hear, and I certainly encourage you to work on yourself. I do realize that the further you get into the process, you also become more critical.
Because there is of course always something to improve for yourself. I'm not likely to go through the motions in that process any time soon. I'm really too much of a foodie for that...
