January has started again and maybe you will join dryjanuari! Then you're in the right place with me because I already have a nice collection of virgin mocktails on my website. You can certainly enjoy a nice drink without having to contain alcohol. In any case, I drink very little myself, and that suits me fine. This virgin gin mango sour recipe has a beautiful head, which gives your drink just that little bit more, I think.
Virgin gin mango sour
The good thing about this Virgin gin mango sour is the combination of sweet and sour. Of course you can also play with it yourself. Just add a little more lemon juice or mango mousse. You can easily order the non-alcoholic gin online, but also at your liquor store. There are now also a lot of various brands that are 0,0%.
This time I kept the mocktail quite “clean” by not hanging any decorations on it. If you want to make it a little more luxurious, insert a toothpick with a cherry, for example.
In terms of color, this fits nicely with the yellow of the mango. If you want to add an extra touch of elegance, consider decorating the glass with a rim of sugar or coconut. This will enhance the presentation and add a subtly sweet touch to the taste experience.
Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.

- 125 gram canned mango - (fresh is also allowed)
- 50 ml lemon juice
- 60 ml Alcohol-free gin
- 1 protein
- ice cubes
Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.
And this is how you make it:
- In your blender you puree the mango with some extra water to a smooth mousse. There should be no more pieces in it. Add some of the syrup from the can to taste.
- Squeeze the lemon and pour the lemon juice together with the mango mousse, the gin and the egg white into your shaker. Shake very hard for 30 seconds.
- Now add some ice cubes to your shaker and shake very hard again for 30 seconds.
- Pour into the glasses and scoop some extra foam from your shaker onto your drink.
- Cheers!
