Have you gotten used to it by now? By this I mean the Friday mocktails (or cocktails). Because whether or not you do dry January, or just don't drink much, or like to have a drink, all my drinks can be made in both ways. This time the decoration is in the spotlight because that makes your glass very special. Yes, it is a bit more work, but it looks very cool. The apple fan in this virgin rum cider spritzer matches well with the apple cider we serve. apple cider spritz

Making a nice drink like this is not that complicated at all. The basis of every cocktail or mocktail is often a kind of syrup. You can make these yourself or buy them in the store. In addition, you match some flavors that you think you like. The worst that can happen is that it doesn't taste so good after all. Cider is also available alcohol-free these days.
When you are considering preparing a cocktail, it is important to think about the variant you are going to choose. Keep in mind that if you choose the version with alcohol, there will also be more calories in your glass! This is because alcohol itself is calorie dense. Additionally, many alcoholic drinks add additional ingredients such as sugar, which can further increase the calorie count.
Nevertheless, for some occasions an alcoholic version may be preferred due to its distinctive taste and the social aspect associated with it. Choose consciously and enjoy in moderation.

Ingredients:
- 60 ml white rum - non-alcoholic (or with alcohol)
- 1 bottle apple cider
- 2 tl elderflower syrup
- 2 granny smith apples
- ice cubes
- 1 citroen - squeezed
Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.
And this is how you make it:
- Pour 1 tsp elderflower syrup and 30 ml (non-alcoholic) rum into each glass. Top up with ice.
- Cut 2 grannies through the middle and cut from the middle into slices of the whole apple, 2 to 3 mm thick. Place the slices on top of each other and cut out the core in the middle. Put all the slices on top of each other in the same direction and put a skewer through them. Drizzle some lemon juice over the apple to prevent it from browning!
- Fold a nice fan from your apple picker and place it on the glass, top up the glass with apple cider and serve immediately.
- Cheers!
