Easy, tasty and fast food, we Dutch love it. Without too much effort at the table and eat. Not everyone is a fan of standing in the kitchen and cooking elaborately. Something that is almost incomprehensible to me, but hey, there are plenty of people who don't have much fun in the kitchen. Now the recipe for this one screw and French fries with lemon super easy, so at the table in no time with a plate full of flavour! fish recipe
And this is how you make the fish and French fries with lemon
We start with the sauce for the cod. Take a bowl and add the lemon juice, olive oil and melted butter. Mix everything together and place the cod fillets in it.
To then make seasoned flour, take a flat dish and put about 60 to 70 grams of flour in it. Sprinkle in spices to your liking. I used pepper, salt, 1 tbsp ras-el-hanout, 1 tbsp persillade, mix these herbs with the flour.
Place a frying pan on the stove to heat it up.
Remove the cod fillets from the bowl with the sauce and pass them through the bowl with the flour so that there is a layer of flour all over the fish. Pour some olive oil into the pan and fry the fish on both sides for 2 minutes.
Add the chopped garlic and fry briefly, deglaze with the sauce from the bowl and let it cook for another 10 minutes on low heat.

French fries don't exist dear people!! They are just Belgian fries called “FRENCH FRIES” by English and Americans !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you quite sensitive? The age-old discussion of whether fries are actually Belgian, French or perhaps Spanish, has still not been settled… What is now a generally known and accepted term are the “French fries”, and with that we all know right away that it is about the long thin fries, and not the thick Belgian “fries”. So to the left or to the right fries/fries/French fries/Belgian fries/fries… it's delicious and that's what Delicious Happen is all about! Gr Francine
You base yourself on French fries, so French fries, but no, a thousand times no, it is derived from frenched fries, cut fries…..I ask every doubter: have you already eaten French fries??
First of all, they only fry them once, and every Belgian knows that you have to pre-fry them at a low temperature, in malt, let cool, very important, and then fry them in oil at a high temperature…
