The past week was a week full of fun and bustle. I've done everything from going out to cooking at home and writing recipes. In this weekly vlog I show you how I spent a day at the Crole Hoeve, a farm where they keep natural cattle and give bbq workshops. I learned a lot about the meat of the cattle, how they live in the nature reserves and how you can prepare them in different ways. I also took a look at their taste room and their tiny house where you can spend the night. It was a super fun and educational experience that I would like to share with you. Are you watching
Week 12.19 weekvlog Delicious bites
The weekly vlog here always starts on Wednesday as you know, but I only started filming on Saturday this week. The days before I cooked at home and those recipes are slowly coming online. That Saturday I also had a very nice day because I went to farmer Leon again.
Workshop head to tail
Often when you do your shopping or go to the butcher and you buy your meat, you have no idea where exactly that piece of meat is on the cow. Taking a workshop with Leon is therefore very interesting because here you get to see exactly how boning works. An extensive blog will be online about this day because of course I have a lot more to tell you!
Party!
My best friend's daughter turned 1! And of course that had to be celebrated. And the hungry guests had to get something to eat, so I also helped in the kitchen to provide everyone with a snack and a tasty sandwich.
What came online this week?
- This delicious lasagna salad.
Cauliflower salad with raspberry and nuts
