A quiet week, that's how I would last week can describe. Especially in the sign of family because my mother-in-law came to stay. Then the blog and the unsubscribe are on the back burner of course. I did kick off the week with a very cool event in Amsterdam, so check back soon in the week 16.19 weekly vlog Delicious bites.

To drive to Amsterdam, you need about an hour. That is of course without a traffic jam and luckily I didn't have that on the way to the Hertog Ice Easter brunch on the grounds of the Westergasfabriek. I had been here a while ago too, so I knew exactly where to park. After that I only had to walk a short distance and it immediately became clear where I had to be because of the large balloons at the entrance.
An enthusiastic Miljuschka Witzenhausen greeted me at the door and of course I immediately took advantage of the moment to make some stories for Instagram with her. (You can see these under the "events" button on my Instagram page, the picture of me with the rolling pin in my hand) Then I went inside to enjoy all the goodies that Hertog Ice had to offer. You can see the rest in the video.
Week 16.19 weekvlog Delicious Happen: Easter traditions
In recent years, as a family, we have started a new tradition. This was the fourth time that we went to the Van Der Valk Hotel in Houten to enjoy an Easter brunch. Especially Jools loves to serve unlimited frikandellen, and chocolate marshmallows and all other tasty things on her plate. On this day, anything is possible! In the evening it was so warm that we had a nice BBQ and got a perfectly grilled entrcôte. So blown away!
This came online last week:
the blog about the Masterclass at the Hilton
A perfectly cooked steak with homemade herb butter
- And delicious Salmon rolls with asparagus
Expected for week 17.19
The May holiday is not over yet and I have a nice surprise for you. We are going on holiday to … France! Yes, we are going to enjoy the beautiful nature and culture in the Dordogne. The weather forecasts are a bit changeable so that will be exciting. But that should not spoil the fun! Will I see you again next week?
