Sun on your head and enjoy! The week 27 week vlog Delicious Happen was dominated by the sunny days. Eating on the terrace in the sun with my buddy Luuk. Shopping in Rotterdam and scored a nice sun hat. Sail in the Biesbosch and enjoy a BBQ on the beach with full sun. I say everyone watch this wonderful week, I have experienced enough again.
Week 27 started gastronomically well! I went with Luuk to Brienen aan de Maas in Well. As you have already seen in the video, that was of course another hilarious start to the week. It was a bit of a drive but it was well worth it. The food was very tasty. The way of serving was also very special. All in all, it was worth spending an hour and a half in the car for it. A day later, Luuk called me and said: “Did you know that we just ate at a restaurant with one Michelèn star?” Well, that certainly explained it!
Recipe on request
On Friday I had an appointment in Rotterdam (yes, not food-related, that can also happen sometimes 😉) and afterwards I went shopping right away. There was sale so that's not wrong to take advantage of that! Of course I still had to have lunch and I did that at the Bijenkorf. I put some delicious salads on my plate there and posted a picture of it. And promptly I was asked if I had recipes for this. Well no, I didn't make them myself, but creative as I am, I started imitating them. I'll be posting the recipes here on my site in the near future, so you'll have to wait a little longer.
I also went to the winner with the goodie bag, she turned out to live fairly close by. I thought it would be much nicer to hand over in person of course! And of course she was very happy about it. A super nice foodie and we chatted for half an hour.

A giveaway also started at the Keuken Kampioen! Thirteen food bloggers including myself made a nice BBQ side dish. Corn starring! The eventual winner can therefore win a nice BBQ. Week 28 is all about the four-day swimming here. Jools is going to swim laps for a nice medal for 4 days. I have to write out a lot of recipes for Delicious Happen because enough has been cooked again. I'm also going to step up again for "The favorite recipe of". I visit a very nice foodie and I am curious what she will cook…. Next week you will of course see something in the weekly vlog.
