And so we sneaked into March already. Sometimes time seems to slip past your fingers. And I especially notice how quickly that time goes by my daughter's clothes. She grows out of it almost every two months. So we did a lot of shopping in the past holiday week. But of course I didn't stand still when it came to food. De week started in Rijssen with my mother-in-law. And boy did we have beautiful weather?! We took advantage of that by taking a nice walk through the forest and having a drink on the terrace.
Fun with friends
Saturday Luuk and Robin came to eat with us. The nice thing about these appointments is that both Luuk and I both cook a number of dishes. We make a lot of fun recipes that will appear on both blogs later. But it is also nice to surprise each other with dishes that you might not have thought of yourself.
The nice thing about giving a nice dinner is setting a nice table. Of course I have cupboards full of crockery and beautiful glassware and that can be taken out of the cupboard and on the table at times like this. And then I finish it off with beautiful fresh flowers and candles. And if the weather is nice, we will eat outside!
Movie recordings
On Tuesday we drove to Whirlpool in Breda. They have a beautiful showroom full of equipment. The Kitchen Champion wanted a nice instructional video for the new “connected” line. Both for the customer and the sellers. Together with Annelien we made a few nice videos. My work there will soon be expanded a bit further, but that will mainly be behind the scenes. So you won't see much of that, but I'm going to get a lot busier with it.
