Ingredients:

  • 4 stumps chicory
  • 200 gr Brie
  • 1 granny call
  • 3 twigs thyme
  • 1 tray mixed nuts
  • 20 gr butter
  • 3 el honey

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • Halve the chicory stalks, remove the unsightly leaves on the outside if necessary. Then fry them cut-side down in a large cast iron pan with some butter until they start to brown. Place the lid on the pan and let it simmer for 8 minutes.
  • After stewing, turn the chicory stalks with the cut side up.
  • Drizzle the honey over the chicory and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Peel the apple and remove the core. Cut into thin slices and place on top of the chicory.
  • Cover the apple with the sliced ​​brie. Sprinkle some nuts on the brie and some thyme leaves.
  • Place in the oven until the brie has melted nicely and is starting to color slightly.
  • Delicious bites!
