I can still remember when we used to have lunch with the family at a restaurant. That was when we celebrated my grandfather's birthday. A brunch, comparable to the Easter brunch at the Van Der Valk. The first thing I scooped up was a huge plate of chocolate custard and I baked cookies. After that I was so full that I didn't eat another bite. Nowadays that wouldn't be my first choice anymore, prefer a nice salad like this white cabbage salad with grapes. If you make a salad like this and you have some white cabbage salad with grapes and raisins left, you can eat it the next day. Zero waste and you can fill yourself with the leftovers.
