Have been making various smoothies every week for a number of years. And no, that won't get boring because the variation possibilities are really endless. An easy way to get some extra vegetables is by incorporating them into your strawberry smoothie. If you opt for sweeter fruit, you won't really taste the vegetables either. This is therefore ideal for adults, but also children who can eat some extra fresh vegetables. This carrot strawberry smoothie with buckwheat is 100% vegetable. We make it with oat milk. But that could also be done with regular milk, or just with water. With the smoothie healthy smoothies recipe maker bowl you can enjoy a delicious and nutritious smoothie every day.
Carrot strawberry smoothie with buckwheat
A strawberry smoothie of only strawberries is a bit filling if you take it for breakfast. We therefore add some buckwheat flakes in this recipe. If you don't have that at home, you can also use oatmeal flakes. This makes your smoothie a bit thicker and more filling. We make this carrot strawberry smoothie with buckwheat a bit sweeter because we also add dates.
I can make the following sentence longer: If you have a powerful blender, you will not notice anything because then they will dissolve completely in the smoothie. I bet you don't realize that you are also drinking carrots. This is a smart way to get more veggies in without tasting it. Carrot is rich in beta carotene, an antioxidant that is good for your eyes and skin
