Salmon and noodles a match made in heaven! This dish arose out of necessity because a number of things from my fridge really had to be used up. It sometimes happens to me that I make my weekly menu and that a number of things change during the week. I prepare something else, accidentally use the vegetable that was intended for another recipe and so I am left with the other ingredients. Because it was very popular here at home, I am writing out the recipe for this salmon baked in butter with noodles for you.
And this is how you make the Salmon fried in butter with noodles:
We'll start with the salmon. Sprinkle with some 5 spice powder and some salt and pepper. Take a frying pan and heat it, melt the butter in the pan and fry the salmon for 2 to 4 minutes on both sides until it is cooked. Then set them aside on a plate until use.
In the meantime, make sure you have chopped the garlic cloves and washed the pak choi. We use the smaller green bok choy in this case so you don't have to cut the leaves any smaller. In the pan with the butter, add a small dash of wok oil and the chopped garlic. Then add the pak choi leaves and fry them for a few minutes. Deglaze with the lemon juice and a good dash of soy sauce and let it simmer for a while.
Remove the noodles from the packaging and add them to the pan, stir fry until everything is well mixed.
