Summer salad with French fruit

Today we are going to make a fresh salad with fruit. Driving through the blisteringly warm French landscape, we enjoy all the vast vineyards. Beautiful vines everywhere that are full of red grapes and with which a fantastic rosée will soon be made! But France has more than orchards full of wild peaches, apricots and nectarines. And this is how you make the fresh salad with fruit:

-Start by washing all the fruit and tomatoes and then carefully cut the peach and apricots into wedges. Cut the tomatoes into slices.

-Take a plate and first put a handful of mixed lettuce on it, place the tomatoes on top of the lettuce and add the peach and apricot segments.

-Fold beautiful florets from the slices of prosciutto and drape them on your salad. Garnish with a nice garlic olive, drizzle some vinaigrette over it and: Delicious bites!

The photo on the left was taken at a large peach grove along the route at Saulce sur Rhone. Delicious beautiful thick juicy fruits ready to be picked! The fruit always tastes better when you can get it fresh from the tree.

Tip: Vinaigrette is very easy to make yourself. The ratio is 3:1 . So three tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of wine vinegar. Furthermore, season it with salt pepper, mustard, possibly honey and garlic.

Ingredients:

  • 2 apricots - wilde
  • 1 peach - big savage
  • 4 tomatoes - in various colors
  • 1 bag mixed salad - of about 200 grams
  • 4 to stick Ham
