Taste the Ligurian summer with this black seafood pasta! Ciao ragazzi, as many of you may know, every year I go on vacation to Italy to visit my family. They live in Rapallo, a town on the Ligurian coast. I've been coming here all my life and it always feels like coming home. There is one restaurant that we as a family regularly go to every year, and that is of course because of the fantastic food!

“Trenette di nero di sepia con frutti di mare e pesto”
There is one dish that stands out and which I always take. And that's a pasta made from squid ink with seafood and pesto. In one word: Insane! And that's why I thought it would be fun to share this recipe with you, because I don't want to keep this from anyone. The traditional Italian cuisine on your plate. In Italy, the dish is labeled as “Trenette di nero di sepia con frutti di mare e pesto”. A mouthful, but to feast.

Ingredients:
- 400 gram black pasta - for sale at delicacy shop / wholesaler
- 400 gram seafood mix - squid / mussels / shrimp etc
- 2 el pesto - recipe see notes
- 2 looks Mutti Pomodorini datterini
- 2 toes Garlic
- 200 ml White wine
- peper
- salt
- olive oil
Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.
And this is how you make it:
- Drain the pomodorini datterini so that you only have the tomatoes left.
- Heat a dash of olive oil in a frying pan and fry the garlic clove for a few minutes.
- Add the seafood mix and fry briefly, then deglaze with the white wine.
- Let the wine evaporate a bit and then add the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a pan with water and salt.
- When the pasta is ready, spoon it into the seafood pan with a few tablespoons of the cooking water.
- Stir well and let it cook for a minute on low heat.
- When all the cooking liquid has evaporated, you can serve the pasta!
- (You can also add a langoustine and e.g. extra squid as you can see in the photos of this recipe. You let this cook along with the tomatoes when you add them.)
