To make the dough: heat the milk and melt the 65 grams of butter in it. Then let it cool down until it is lukewarm.
In a mixing bowl mix the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, cardamom powder, then pour in the lukewarm milk, water and 2 tbsp milk and finally mix on the highest setting until a smooth dough is formed .
Put the dough in a bowl and cover with a cloth and let rise for 30 minutes. After these 30 minutes, tap the bowl a few times on the table so that the dough collapses and then let it rise for another 30 minutes.
put some flour on your work surface and remove the dough from the bowl. With your rolling pin, roll out the dough into a vertical strip of about 60x40 cm.
Spread the 150 grams of very soft butter over the dough and sprinkle with the cinnamon and caster sugar.
Roll the dough lengthwise into a long sausage. Cut the dough into trapezoids. (triangles that are 3 cm wide at the top and 6 cm wide at the bottom.
Press the buns with a wooden ladle to flatten the sides slightly.
Preheat your oven to 175 degrees.
Place the buns on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
