Grilling your vegetables always gives them that little bit of extra flavor. This is actually a combined asparagus salad and fennel salad. Both vegetables don't have to be on the grill for very long, so we keep a nice bite. Recently I received a press package containing a new type of mayonnaise. One with a lemon flavour, and that gives this asparagus recipe a fresh touch. We mix the mayonnaise with some olive oil and some extra lemon juice. This makes it slightly more acidic and more like a dressing. You can drip this dressing over the salad at your own discretion. salad green white asparagus asparagus recipe
This grilled green asparagus fennel salad can be eaten warm directly from the pan or cooled. Good idea for a nice dinner where you serve several salads. But you can also serve it as a nice appetizer. A green asparagus recipe that you can enjoy!

You can actually get green asparagus and fennel all year round these days. I myself am a fan of the anise-like taste of fennel. This vegetable has many medicinal properties.
Fennel has a unique, sweet and aniseed flavour. It is soft in texture and goes well in many different dishes, including salads, soups and stews. Many people also like fennel because it is a light and refreshing alternative to other vegetables. Plus, it's high in nutrients, such as vitamin C and potassium, making it a healthy option for many people.
