You need:

  • 20 large shrimp
  • 75 gram Zeeland bacon - in thin slices
  • 2 el capers
  • 15 small sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 citroen
  • 2 twigs fresh chopped parsley
  • 75 ml White wine
  • 50 gram butter

And this is how you make it:

  • Cut the bacon into thin slices. Heat the appetizers or casserole and pour in some olive oil. Sprinkle some fresh pepper on the bacon. Fry the bacon until crispy and then remove from the pan.
  • Fry the shrimp in the fat on both sides until they are pink, do not overcook! Remove the shrimp from the pan and set them aside.
  • Deglaze the fat in the pan with the wine and add the juice of 1 lemon. Place the butter in the pan and let it melt. Let the sauce reduce a bit.
  • Return the prawns and bacon to the pan and add the capers, sun-dried tomatoes and chopped parsley.
  • Season with more salt and pepper if desired and serve with pasta or rice.
