Yes, Christmas is just around the corner and that calls for a nice Christmas drink, right? At work or maybe at home with friends, everyone will love this Christmas cranberry cocktail with gin. The basic principle of this cocktail is simple: Gin! but of course you can vary endlessly with the rest of the drink you add. In this case Spa with a flavor, but that can also be tonic or another type of sparkling water. We make the syrup ourselves, that's a piece of cake and you can easily store it. Orange and pomegranate really fit this season in my opinion, so we also add them to the glass.

Now I write that we use gin, but here too there is plenty of variation. Vodka, gin or another liqueur or spirit can also be used for this. And that is the great thing about making cocktails. You can go in any direction with it and give it your own taste.

Enjoy but drink in moderation…. That still applies of course, if you don’t drink alcohol at all you can make it with the 0,0% version. There are plenty of alternatives for sale these days, including great tasting mocktails and alcohol-free beers that rival many of their alcoholic counterparts.

This way you can participate in social events without worries and still enjoy a refreshing drink. It is important to choose consciously and watch what you consume, so that you can continue to enjoy pleasant moments without the disadvantages of alcohol.

Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the cocktail below. Cheers!

What a nice recipe! What do you use to get the red color and how long can you keep the cinnamon syrup?
The red color in this case comes from the Spa (with flavor) but this can also be cassis, depending on which sparkling water you like. The syrup can be kept in the refrigerator for weeks. It is actually nothing more than concentrated sugar water, so it can last a long time! Gr Francine
Fabulous cocktail!
